What to Expect

Everyone who comes through the doors of South Mountain Baptist Church is welcome – just as they are. We are a church family that is changing lives by following Jesus in our community, our nation, and our world. We believe that the immutable life-changing message of Jesus is for everyone – including you.

Our heart is to serve our local communities through sharing the word of God and our community outreach efforts. We are a movement of people who believe God has called us to spread the Good News of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We have a long history of working in the community to share the life-changing message of Jesus with people all around our city, county, and state.

As a church, we support people and ministries locally and across our great state who fight poverty and injustice, care for the poor, develop ongoing solutions for complex issues, and share the love of Jesus.

South Mountain Baptist Church is a family of Christian believers in which you can safely grow, love, and be loved. We seek to create an atmosphere where each person is free to worship according to the dictates of his or her own heart.

In our congregation, there are many generations, just as there are in many families. We strive to serve all our family members to the best of our abilities, according to their needs by the grace of God.

Come comfortably dressed. As God shows no favoritism or partiality, the Bible teaches us that neither should we, so we invite you to come as you are, without fear of being judged.

Sunday Breakfast – Served	8:30 AM – 9:00 AM
Sunday School	9:00 AM – 9:45 AM
Sunday Morning Worship	10:15 AM
Wednesday – Bible Study	7:00 PM
